Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has sparked online debates with her commentary on the recent scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, Director General of Equatorial Guinea's National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF).

Engonga’s sex scandal, already controversial, drew greater attention when it was revealed that some of his partners included his brother’s wife, his cousin, and even the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s President. Authorities investigating Engonga for alleged financial fraud uncovered over 300 videos of him with various women, a revelation that has fueled both social and political uproar.

Martins took to Instagram to address the issue with humor, describing Engonga as “every woman’s dream man.” She highlighted what she termed his "skill and attentiveness," and noted his “top-notch energy” and alleged penchant for playing Nigerian music during intimate moments.

Her lighthearted post also implied that some women may have willingly engaged with Engonga for personal gain, while others might have been introduced to him as part of an arrangement to clear their spouses' legal troubles.

Despite her playful commentary, Martins clarified her relief that no Nigerian women were involved in the scandal. She added, “Jokes aside, that Equatorial Guinea guy is every woman’s dream man…he’s a full spec, make we no lie.”

Martins’ post has drawn mixed reactions online, with some finding humor in her comments and others critiquing her for addressing such a serious issue lightly. The scandal, coupled with the actress’s commentary, has stirred widespread discussion on social media about ethics, power, and gender roles in high-profile scandals.
